Paradox Illusions - Penrose triangle optimised

thingiverse

This is a revised version of Tomonori's Penrose triangle, with modifications designed to enhance the illusion and printing experience. Key changes include: * Elimination of parts that are hidden from view when observing the correct angle for the illusion, resulting in a quicker print time, reduced material usage, and an even more puzzling shape that conceals its triangular form until viewed from the optimal angle. * Default size scaled to 75% for improved print quality. Two versions of the model are provided: one optimized for viewing at short distances (comparable to the original) and another suited for farther distances. The latter is ideal for smaller prints, while the former excels on larger prints. A significant alteration involves exchanging most slanted overhangs with a single prominent horizontal overhang that necessitates support material. Although supports are often disliked by many, including myself, in this instance they simplify the print process. A photo demonstrates how Slic3r effectively handles this with pillars.
