Paracord Spool / Holder - BatSpool
thingiverse
A compact paracord spool design includes a cutout for razor blade attachment and two notches for securing paracord ends. The top of the spool features a removable hole that can be utilized for attaching key-rings or carabiners. The lightweight design requires minimal filament while maintaining exceptional strength. To mount the razor blade, simply mark its mounting hole location and create a corresponding hole in both the blade cover and the spool using a screw, soldering iron, hot spike, drill, or any other suitable tool. A small bolt and nut were used for attachment, but a tiny screw should suffice. Print Settings: Printer: XYZ DaVinci 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 75%+ for optimal strength Notes: When printing with ABS, as was done in this case, it is recommended to apply acetone vapor smoothing to enhance layer adhesion and achieve the best possible strength.
