Paracord Spool holder
thingiverse
Human: Carries 550 paracord. I discovered numerous designs, but they all fell short of my expectations. This device holds 100 ft of cord. It features standard rectangular razor blades (also known as scraper blades or Stanley 11-515). The tool measures .2" in thickness and does not bend. The middle section has holes for securing the bitter end of the cord. Notches along the sides allow for a precise shape when melting the tag end. A sturdy blade guard prevents damage. A snap-in design secures the blade cover, eliminating the need for screws. Users can choose to glue it shut if desired. Usage: 1. Pass the cord through the top middle hole and tie an overhand knot. 2. Pull the knot into a slight recess on the bottom and wrap tightly. Melting slots are also available: Find the slot that matches your cordage size, leaving 1/2" above the slot. Melt the cord with a lighter, then pull it down into the slot (but not through the bottom). Wait for the cord to cool before removing it. The end should have a neat, round shape.
