<p>This is parabox, &nbsp;a rugged, customizable parametric box.</p><p>You can of course just download the provided example 3mf file, but it's best to download the f360</p><p>You can edit the following parameters in the step file:</p><figure class="image image-style-align-center"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/92433/rich_content/f5a3ea97-c605-406d-92b2-64a074a0cd2d/parametric_box_parameters.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2266be9055-4155-452e-8602-fde8f78b6522%22%2C%22w%22%3A646%2C%22h%22%3A283%7D"></figure><p>The “<strong>unit</strong>” parameters will determine the format of your Box in X/Y/Z.</p><p>It's best to change it in intervals of 0,5 until the “<strong>innerspace</strong>” parameters are enough to store whatever item you desire or until the “<strong>max</strong>” parameters fit onto your printbed or into your shelf.</p><p>The file also provides optional dividers, which just slot in place with a friction joint. You can tell the file how many dividers you will need with the “<strong>dividers</strong>” parameter and it will automatically adapt. If you need the dividers to be more sturdy, increase the “<strong>dividerthickness</strong>” parameter.</p><p>The sides of the box provide a handy, wide dovetail to attach it to a pegboard adapter, join two boxes via a “bow tie joint” or simply attach small labels that slot into place.</p><p>Pieces of 1.75mm filament are used as a hinges, which so far survived my testing of about 2000 open/close operations and about 100 drops onto stone/concrete from 1.5m (had a lot of fun with that). You can keep the filament in place by melting the ends or slightly splitting them, they're going nowhere!</p><p>The hinges and latches can be places whereever you like, you can even have no hinges and just latches on all sides for a super secure fit.</p><p><i>If more customization is needed, feel free to suggest other add-ons to the box or remix it to your liking, make it your own!
