Parabolic Wifi Reflector Fast Print

Parabolic Wifi Reflector Fast Print

This is a modified version of Parabolic WIFI reflector by jamhot. The design features a removed top section and thinner plastic for faster/easier printing without supports. A larger 12mm antenna hole adds improved performance. Printing one bottom and one top piece, then combining them with tape or glue creates the completed reflector. For longer antennas, print multiple bottoms, securing them together with tape, and place the single top piece at the top of the stack. A comparison between tinfoil applied to the outside and inside of the parabola revealed no measurable difference using a wireless router strength meter. However, I did observe a 2db to 3db signal boost for 2.4ghz on my 16" long antenna setup. My current configuration includes three printed bottoms stacked together with one top piece. With a three-antenna router, I'm focusing the signal from just one antenna towards the wifi cold spot, achieving optimal results.
