Please see variant A for a comprehensive description of the operating principle as well as the envisaged purpose and application of this model. Variant B shown here differs from variant A in that the space immediately above the valve is sealed off from the outside (I suppose that, in an actual production model, this compartment would need to have a removable cap for factory assembly as well as servicing but I was just concerned with the basic concept when I modelled this). Also, there is double the amount of reinforcement webbing for the sheath around the port connecting that sealed compartment above the valve and the valve's main chamber and which enables the obstructing element to protrude into the valve's main chamber from above and fully or partially occlude the funnel portion of the valve, which constitutes its outflow port, to varying degrees.
