Parabolic Cylinder

This Parabolic Cylinder has made a significant impact on my students' understanding that not all cylinders resemble cans or circular tubes. I designed and printed this model with Mathematica in Spring 2017, and it has become a valuable tool for my Multivariable Calculus classes. It is often used during discussions in front of the classroom, where its large size allows students to get a hands-on feel for the shape and curves. My Quadric Surfaces Set includes a range of models that are designed to stand at the same height, making them ideal for display purposes. This set consists of: • The Parabolic Cylinder • The Circular Paraboloid • The Hyperbolic Paraboloid • The Ellipsoid • The Hyperboloid of One Sheet • The Circular Cone • The Hyperboloid of Two Sheets
