A custom-made centrifugal blower, designed to be 3D printable and compatible with PAPR systems, has been created using a versatile 2205 brushless DC motor commonly used in RC applications. This innovative design offers two distinct impeller configurations tailored for optimal performance at different RPM ranges. For high-speed operation up to 12,000 RPM, an aggressive impeller is recommended, providing enhanced airflow at this specific RPM. In contrast, a less aggressive impeller is optimized for operation at higher RPM levels.
