Our team, led by Mitch Palmer and Dene Huntley, aimed to develop an innovative product characterized by its simplicity, elegance, and distinctive features that boost sales potential. The concept presents a user-friendly paper tear system whereby the paper towel is easily fed through a slot and pulled across for tearing. A weighted base ensures balance, preventing tipping over. Furthermore, we ensured our design aligns with Umbra's existing aesthetic, which not only enhances visual appeal but can also drive sales by creating a perceived set when paired with other Umbra products.
