Paperlook Vase for PVB prints

prusaprinters

A Vase in Paper optic to test the smoothability and transparency of PVB material in combination with a 0.8 nozzle. Tested Prusas Smoky Black PVB Filament.I printed it well with 0.97 mm layer width on a 0.8 Nozzle with 0.5mm Layer height in Vasemode, i just scaled it down a little bit what causes some hole at the steep parts in the middle. After  printing I was able to smooth it very well: I put it upside down in a container on some small wood pieces (so it doesnt touch the ground and air can circulate inside) and spray it gently from all sides with IPA untill its covored with a thin Layer, let it dry for a few second and close the lid. let it stand in the sun for half an hour to one hour and repeat the process with the inside of the vase. Repeat this until you are happy with the result or your vase melts completly ;)Have fun!
