Paper towel roll holder
cults3d
Based on the same principle as my toilet paper holder, I made some modifications and added reinforcements to accommodate paper towel rolls. To install a paper towel roll in your kitchen: Insert the roller from underneath, then remove it by lifting it up. I've provided 1 file of the whole piece for a 30x30 bed, or 2 files to print on a 20x20 bed in 2 parts if needed. For the internal mechanism, check your printer settings to ensure proper alignment. After printing, activate the moving parts to deburr the inside. You may need to force it a bit the first time, as the play between the bottom of the parts is quite reduced! This design is planned for a roll about 23 cm in size, but you can adjust the dimensions according to your paper towel rolls' sizes. After printing, attach 2 elastic bands to secure the roll in place. March 14, 2020. Updated models now feature invisible elastic underneath for added convenience. WARNING: You'll need a 30 x 30 cm tray for printing this design. If you have a smaller bed, I can divide the file into two parts upon request. Update March 27, 2020: Added files in 2 parts of version 2: SopalinG and SopalinD. I've also included a test piece to help you fine-tune your adjustments.
