Paper Towel Roll Adapter

Recently, my local warehouse club expanded the tube in their store brand paper towels, making it impossible for my kitchen towel dispenser to fit. The newly enlarged center tube boasted an interior diameter 14mm larger than before, so I designed these adapters to prevent the ends from getting stuck and allow them to spin freely. This adaptation adjusts the inner diameter to the new 48mm size from the old 34mm size. Simply print two adapters, one for each end of the roll, and slide them in; they will snug up tightly against a 35mm guide ring on the roll holder. I printed this design in red PLA on my HE3D K200 printer using no infill, .2mm layer height, and .8mm wall thickness. This creation was crafted using OpenSCAD.
