I originally remixed of a different paper towel holder design but then discovered it did not fit PVC pipe correctly, did not hold the big rolls of paper towels I buy from Sam's Club, and the overall design was very bulky, so I created an entirely new sleeker design that uses a small section of 1 inch (outer diameter) PVC, which snaps in perfectly and fits a inside a standard roll of paper towels nicely. This design has the holes spaced where it can be mounted on pegboard if desired, or the wall if you choose. The holes are designed so that drywall anchors rest into the recessed mount holes. If your drywall anchors are too long for pegboard (most people mount their pegboard with about 1/2 inch of space from the wall), simply cut about 1/4 inch off the tip of the drywall anchor. The PVC snaps in and out of the mount easily to make changing the roll of paper towels easy peasy.
