A practical device for holding a roll of paper towels in place, designed with a straightforward approach. To build this device, you will need a wooden dowel that is half an inch in diameter and 14 inches long. This device can be mounted either vertically under the underside of a cabinet or horizontally against a wall. I have uploaded both a 5-inch version and a 7-inch version, which refers to the measurement from the centerline of the roll of towels to the mounting surface. The holder can be secured with three screws or using adhesive tape - I recommend VHB for optimal results.
