Paper Pot Tool
youmagine
This handy tool makes paper pots out of newspaper, perfect for starting seeds and incredibly easy to use. I came across some designs that made newspaper pots, but none of them met my requirements (requiring supports, too complicated, no grips, etc.), so I decided to create my own design. Editing the .scad file allows you to easily adjust the pot size, depth, grip sizes, and other features. To make a new paper pot, simply cut a strip of newspaper (using black and white ink is best since colored ink can contain toxins - black ink is roughly hand-width). Then, wrap it around the larger tool part's cylinder. Fold in the ends, press it into the cap, and carefully remove the newly-formed pot. The biodegradable nature of black and white newspaper makes it perfect for planting directly into the ground once your plants are ready. Simply drop the entire thing in, and you're done!
