Paper Kinfauns by Dirk Stevesyns
sketchfab
Here's a paper modeling of Kinfauns, the iconic bungalow that once belonged to George Harrison and later to songwriters Barry Mason and Sylvan Whittingham. Here's a 1967 rendition of the house, which shows many changes from its original 1953 construction to its eventual demolition in 2003. The model was originally created by Dirk Stevesyns using cardboard, but I manually converted it into Blender and uploaded it to Sketchup. Of course, this version doesn't include many details from the estate, such as high walls, a goldfish pond, or a greenhouse, so I've left it as is. Please note that this model is just the first step in creating a 3D model of the Esher bungalow in Blender, which will also be uploaded to Sketchfab. The next step involves creating a low-poly 70's rendition of the house before going back in time to the late 1960s. I'd like to extend my gratitude to Sylvan Mason and Benjamin Whitaker, son of the late Robert Whitaker, for their valuable assistance on this project.
