Paper Guide for Wheelwriter 1000
thingiverse
The Cadetwriter project by the IBM 1620 Jr. team at the Computer History Museum cleverly converts an IBM/Lexmark Wheelwriter 1000 electric typewriter into a high-tech printing console device for either IBM 1620 or ASCII terminal emulation. Originally designed to use individual sheets of typing paper, this innovative device makes more sense when fed continuous paper from a roll or fanfold for computer console use. To achieve seamless performance, two Cadetwriters are required, which clip neatly into the ventilation slots of the Wheelwriter's upper housing and expertly keep the paper in perfect position as it feeds through the platen.
