Paper Claw Business card
thingiverse
Recently, I came across an instructable on robotic claw business cards (http://www.instructables.com/id/Robotic-claw-business-card/). However, I had made a paper claw previously and preferred not to replicate someone else's design. The original design also featured complex gears that would require a laser cutter for precision cutting. Instead, I utilized the mechanism of my previous claw and integrated it into a business card. If you plan on making one, a laser cutter is recommended for ease of assembly. This task proved challenging, and wire substitution was necessary for some parts due to unavailability of disks. Feel free to test the functionality of this design or even 3D print it after modifications. Please ignore the pink post-it note with my name on it. If you need a different file format for lasercutting, let me know. I've also provided an Illustrator file with all layers side by side to assist in building the card. Don't forget to Flattr if you like it!
