Panzer Is - 1:200 - with Snap-In Turrets

This a a collection of Panzer Is in 1:200 scale. Currently it consists of a Panzer Ia and b. Shown in the picture are prints of the latest simple designs of a Panzer I Ausf A and B. These are at 1:200 and 1;285.. I tried printing TigerAce1945's most excellent Panzer I pack at 1:200 scale, but the tracks were very thin and broke off whenever my clumsy fingers tried to clean away the supports And don't even get me started about the teeny-tiny MGs.So I took an inspiration from m_bergman's work and created simple versions. I took TigerAce1945's models, shrunk them down, reoriented them, installed snap in turrets, beefed up the inside of the tracks, MGs, lower suspension (M_Bergman style) where you really can't see it at 1:200 scale, and Voila: Dime Sized Panzer Is!The files named containing "simple" have all the above added structure. The others files are just the 1:100s scaled down, reoriented with snap in turrets. With a little care, they print well at 1:200. With extra care they print ok at 1:285, deluxe ASL scale 2/9/2024 - The tracks are still very easy to break with support removal, even on the simple versions, please take care!2/10/2024 - Beefed up the simple hull even more for easier support removal Ausf A (v2). Beware how fragile the upper tracks are between the return rollers. The fender aren't a picnic either.2/11/2024 - Included a picture of sample Ausf A prints. Uploaded Ausf B models.
