Panther with its cubs at Rameau Palace, Lille, France
myminifactory
This slightly larger than life granite sculpture showcases a majestic panther with its adorable cub; it was masterfully sculpted by Maurice Prost in 1948. Prost is renowned for his stunning sculptures of panthers, creating art deco masterpieces that have become incredibly popular. Although he typically casts sculptures in bronze or sculpts out of marble, this exceptional piece and the other sculpture outside the Rameau Palace (also shared on Scan The World) are made from granite. Scan the World is a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe. This amazing resource is available for free to the public, allowing anyone to access these incredible treasures. Scan the World is an open-source community effort, and we encourage everyone to contribute by emailing stw@myminifactory.com if they have interesting items they'd like to share.
