Panels from the stone sarcophagus of Menna, mayor of Nennesut, Herakleopolis, shine with an otherworldly glow. Ancient Egyptian New Kingdom relics, dating back to the late 18th - early 19th Dynasty, circa 1323-1213 B.C., reveal a fascinating glimpse into Egypt's rich history. Two of Horus' four sons come alive on these panels: Imsety, majestically positioned on the left, and Duamutef, regally standing tall on the right. These stunning works of art are now part of the San Antonio Museum of Art collection, a testament to human ingenuity and creativity.
