PanelDue Enclosure with Mount for Trick Laser Rostock MAX METAL
thingiverse
You'll be able to attach a PanelDue to your Rostock MAX METAL by mounting it directly on the frame. Or you can modify the mounting bracket if you prefer! This design uses captive M3 nylon locknuts along with M3 screws. Four 5mm screws are used for the LCD, and seven 15mm screws cover everything else. Make sure to use countersunk screws for the lid - one of the pictures shows it transparent, which is designed to accept them. If you don't, the frame will get in the way of the screw heads. The mounting brackets are secured to the frame with Unbrako #10-32 x 1/2 low-head caphead screws and 80/20 Inc T-Slot HW 10 Series 10-32 Roll-In T-Nut w/Ball Spring #3922 N. It's crucial that you have your printer calibrated for dimensional accuracy. If not, the screw holes will probably not align correctly! Everything needed to calibrate your printer's dimensional accuracy is readily available here. This enclosure remix has been designed by dc42 and includes some new features. The internal screw posts should print more smoothly than before.
