PanelDue 7i AliExpress Clone Case and Railcore Mount - F3D Editable
thingiverse
I purchased a clone 7-inch PanelDue from Fysetc on AliExpress. Unfortunately, the vertical distance between the mounting screws on this clone is 102mm instead of the standard 98mm, making it incompatible with most cases. To solve this issue, I designed my own case and bracket that fits to the 15x15mm extrusion on the Railcore II. The bracket attaches to a 50mm square hole pattern on the back, ensuring compatibility with existing panel due case mounting brackets. Four M3 x ~16mm screws hold the case together, while four M3 nuts are required for mounting the bracket. My custom bracket secures to the top extrusion of the Railcore II and tilts the display back by 10 degrees, providing easier access to the screen. The design includes two cable outlet locations and ventilation holes for improved airflow. Additionally, the SD card and USB socket are directly accessible, and the buttons on the controller can be pressed using a straightened paper clip or similar tool. A custom pattern is integrated into the front surface of the bracket, allowing for 2-color printing by swapping filaments a few layers into the print. The design file for this pattern can be edited or deleted in Fusion 360.
