This is a mounting plate designed specifically for Ethernet inline couplers in panel settings. It was custom-made for integration into a CNC control system case. Photos showcase it being used within a 14-gauge case, though the design allows compatibility with panel thicknesses of up to .75 inches. The plate itself is built to accommodate a particular Ethernet coupler model by Monoprice: a product optimized for seamless connectivity. To complete the assembly, heat-set fasteners are required. Printed components are made from ABS, while the inserts were manually placed into the center part with the tip of a soldering iron; then pressed gently, but securely in place using an item that would prevent displacement when handling the item after use of a soldering tool was removed. Using standard drill bits and hole saws, precise cut-out holes are achieved within your panel to secure both components accurately and securely. Two clamping systems provide sturdy base settings for both inner and outer layers onto chosen panel surface using available #8 fasteners provided. By attaching the Ethernet coupler centrally between both upper components (the central middle section along with one final thin piece), all structural connections have been established using 4 specially required short-screw pieces (measured according to respective user case) for more stability overall.
