This artwork, titled 'Ogden Avenue Bridge House Panel: Figure of a Woman Operating Gear Mechanism,' is the creation of Scipione Del Campo, an American artist born in Italy between 1895 and 1957. It dates back to the year 1932 and was part of the Ogden Avenue Bridge House before its demolition in 1994-95. The sculpture is made from carved limestone and depicts a bas relief measuring approximately 123.5 x 105.5 x 18 cm. It became a part of the Department of Bridges and Transportation, City of Chicago's collection in 1996, bearing the number 1996.295.1. The artwork is currently displayed at the Art Institute of Chicago as part of their Architecture and Design Gallery 200. It was photographed by Yasmine Afshar from the Art Institute of Chicago as one of a series of 3D scans during her residency in the Ryan Education Center, which she shares under the hashtag #museum3D. The image has been shared online at http://www.artic.edu/aic/collections/artwork/144521?search_no=2&index=0. The photograph was taken using a DSLR camera, the 3D scan was done with 123D Catch, and the image was refined in Netfabb before being printed on a Replicator 2X using ABS material.
