This front panel I created after swapping out the display TFFT24 on the MKS 12864 display for an encoder. Following the swap, large gaps appeared on the front of the printer, which needed to be concealed. The front panel and the rectangular frame surrounding the display are designed to separate easily for printing purposes. After printing is complete, they must be glued back together. The inner shell serves to enclose the display board and card reader from within. The display itself has been rotated 180 degrees. This can be accomplished with ease through firmware modifications. All components were printed using ABS plastic. After printing was finished, I applied a coat of paint to match the colors of the printer's original body. I have attached the source file to AutoCAD so that any necessary changes can be made if needed.
