Panel depicting a monk at The British Museum, London
myminifactory
Panel showcasing a contemplative monk. The monk's robust robe drapes over one shoulder in broad, rugged folds as he turns his head slightly to the left; his rounded face lacks definition at the hairline. His long eyes are narrow and clearly defined, with pupils marked distinctly, while the nose, mouth, and cheeks are full and pronounced. The large ears protrude from either side of his head, but one is significantly larger than the other. The monk's joined hands leave a noticeable gap between the palms, and the fingers of his right hand appear to conceal those of his left. This object forms part of "Scan The World", an innovative initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
