I wanted to swap out my Dacia Duster 2108's original panel for one with more connectivity options. The flat panel made it easy to design, so I added another cigarette lighter plug, a dual USB port with voltage meter, an XT60 connector for high-current applications, and a light for the tunnel along with its switch. For simplicity, the panel can be printed using standard PLA material, but leaving the car in direct sunlight for extended periods poses a risk of deformation. To avoid this issue, I opted for High Temperature PLA from Paperdifferent instead. This material allows the panel to be hardened after printing by keeping it at 90°C for 90 minutes, enabling it to withstand temperatures over 100°C without deforming. Important Note: When using HT PLA, you must scale the models up to 101.25% due to the material's shrinkage during the hardening process. I used a scaling factor of 101.25 for my HTPLA, while the seller recommended 102%, but that resulted in an oversized panel. Available STL files include: * The original panel design * An updated version with screw holes (two screws can be reused from the car) * A modified panel with improved fitment and accessories I sourced from Wish.com * The Musk.stl file provides a reference for the inner panel's profile hole, ensuring accurate placement of accessories Additionally, a DXF file is included for those who prefer to use CNC machining techniques on flat panels made from aluminum or plastic materials.
