Welcome to the most awe-inspiring project in SciFi and comic books today. The Reckoning project aims to make a 5-album science-fiction comic-book series that is also fully readable for the blind, both offline and online. This innovative approach makes Reckoning stand out as one of the most groundbreaking projects in the industry. My own comic book project Implant! serves as a rapid prototype development platform for the concept, allowing me to test and refine the idea before scaling up to the full series. At the same time, I'm using Implant! to create detailed models of the characters and settings that will be featured in Reckoning. The panel shown here is an example from page 01 of Implant!, demonstrating how a comic-book panel can be made printable with precise details and textures. This panel was drawn by talented artist Ira Black, converted to 3D by Ralph Sayad, and based on a story I wrote called Implant!. One of the most exciting aspects of Reckoning is its accessibility features. Using Haptic feedback gloves like those offered by HaptX, blind individuals will be able to navigate online comic-book pages with ease, zipping around panels, zooming in and out, and feeling every detail with their hands. Reckoning aims to produce not only stunning 3D graphics but also tactile pages that can be vacuum formed over the 3D printed pages, reducing production costs while ensuring maximum accessibility. This will make Reckoning the world's first fully accessible comic-book SciFi series conversion featuring 3D printable models. As I explore this innovative approach to storytelling, I'm eager to hear your thoughts and see how you engage with the Reckoning project. If you have a blind or visually impaired friend who might be interested in experiencing this cutting-edge technology, please share it with them and ask for their feedback. Their opinion would be invaluable. To encourage participation, I'd like to offer a free digital copy of the comic-book Implant! to anyone who shares their thoughts on Reckoning. I'm also excited to collaborate with artists, 3D modelers, and programmers from around the world, including countries such as the Faroe Islands, Denmark, England, Argentina, Germany, China, the USA, Romania, Bangladesh, Singapore, and Mexico. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this project and whether you think I should release more panels on Thingiverse. Thank you for joining me on this exciting journey! Best regards, Einar
