Pandora burst forth from the creative minds of Hephaistos and Athena, as the gods of Olympus rallied behind Zeus's command to bring her into being. Each deity bestowed upon her a unique gift: beauty, elegance, power, and persuasive charm. With these blessings, Pandora was entrusted with a box, sealed with the express intention that it remain shut - an instruction that would become the focal point of Jean-Pierre Cortot's artistic vision. As Zeus departed to confront Prometheus and mete out punishment to humanity, Pandora found herself unattended, her innate curiosity getting the better of her. With a swift motion, she lifted the box's lid, unleashing a torrent of evil into the world. Only hope managed to evade her grasp.
