Panda Phone Holder

Panda Phone Holder

This is a remix of Greer7575's "IPhone Stand Panda". I liked the idea but didn't like the idea of having to try and paint it as one piece so I separated all of the major pieces using TinkerCAD. I also wanted it to be a little more whimsical so i added the shoes and the googly eyes. The bamboo part of the stand didn't look bambooy enough for me so I redid it using TinkerCAD. This particular phone holder was made for a friend, hence the name on the base. The actual .STL file will be blank, but a name can easily be added using TinkerCAD. The foliage are bits and pieces from a plastic plant and the grass is normally used in model train layouts. If you're lucky enough to have access to both an FDM printer and resin printer, then you can print the version with the separate eyes and this will make it easier to get nicely defined eyes. Of course, if you have steady hands then just go ahead and print the all-in-one body and hand paint the eyes in. I printed the shoes using a resin printer but they should print well with FDM. All of the separate pieces are painted after printing then glued together. Lastly, I glued a piece of felt fabric to the bottom of the base to give it a more "finished" look and to help keep it from sliding around on a table. You can also use self sticking small rubber feet easily found at any hardware store. Have fun!
