A Little Panda Magnet for Your Fridge. You Can Print It in Two Colors on Any 3D Printer Running with Marlin Using the M600 Command to Change Filament. Procedure: First, Generate the G CODE with a 0.15 Layer Height Using Cura. Next, Open the Generated G CODE in Notepad and Locate Line " ;LAYER:19 " Insert the M600 Command Between the Previous Line. Save the Changes. When the Printer Comes to the Desired Change, It Will Pause, Retract the Filament Slightly to Ease the Change and Produce a Beep-Beep Noise. Simply Replace the Filament with Another and Press the Main Button on Your Printer, and the Print Will Continue Where It Stopped. Note 1: Do Not Use Cura's Built-In Function to Automatically Insert the M600 Command at the Desired Layer. This Function Alters the Extruder Position and Results in Unwanted Retraction, Which Can Cause Problems. Note 2: Be Mindful That in Cura Preview Mode, the First Layer Begins at 1, but in the G CODE, It Starts at 0. Therefore, If You See in Cura That the Desired Color Change Occurs at Layer 20, It Corresponds to Layer 19 in the G CODE. Note 3: This Technique Works Flawlessly on My CR-10 Printer. However, I Experienced Issues with My Ender-3 Printer, Where the Print Would Fail Approximately 75% of the Time. The Problem Appears to Be Related to the Printer's Positioning After Filament Replacement, Which Can Vary Significantly on the Z-Axis, Y-Axis, or Both. Despite Efforts to Identify and Correct This Issue, I Have Been Unable to Achieve Consistent Results. There Is a Hole at the Back of the Design for Attaching an 8mm x 3mm Magnet. To Ensure Easy Adhesion, Rub the Magnet Gently with Sandpaper Before Applying Glue.
