Pancake-free T-Rex Skeleton
thingiverse
I woke up this morning to a surprise on my print-bed - a batch of pancakes made from printing Stegosaurus bases. I quickly tracked down the problem and discovered it was with the model itself. Now, I'm busy repairing all the dinosaur models in my collection. The fixes have been made and the parts are now ready to print without any more unexpected pancake surprises. Here's what needed attention: I fixed normals to prevent printing issues Closed solid surfaces to ensure a smooth finish Removed self-intersections that were causing problems Made each model manifold for seamless printing Some of the models required multiple passes to rid them completely of errors, so I double-checked them in Windows 3D Builder just to be sure they were error-free.
