Panavise Turbo Drive
thingiverse
I got tired of all the effort it took to open and close my Panavise, so I designed a turbo drive. The drive uses two printed gears, a skate bearing, and some assorted hardware. Each turn on the input gear results in three turns of the output gear. Three times less cranking. Now you have even more time to look at computers. *Sorry about the formatting. I split the tutorial out into modules to try and make the documentation easier for screen readers to parse. It seems like Markdown isn't being recognized outside the "Summary" module on the Thingiverse editor. Hopefully that bug gets patched and the formatting gets restored.*
