Panavise Tray Base Plus

Update 10/11/19: I've thoroughly updated files across various locations to reflect size adjustments. All versions now feature 12 holes designed to be tapped out to 1/4NPT, allowing easy mounting of coolant tubes for helping hands, eliminating the need for additional mounts. Split versions are available in both hex and tap mount configurations. My test print showed promising results, with only minor flex between pieces when pressing on opposite sides. Update 11/18/19: I've added non-split files to the mix, with split files following soon. Update 11/14/19: The updated files are en route. I'm currently working on revamping my entire sketch for the files to make generating (good-looking) split pieces easier for smaller build plates and larger tray configurations. I may also add my own helping-hands mounts to create a self-contained piece. I've designed a tray base that fits onto a standard Panavise, holding your bits and bobs while expanding the footprint for greater stability, similar to their model 312. I'll be developing variations in thickness, mounting options, and overall size. All will feature tap-fit holes on the edges for attachments. You can mount it directly to the vise base or pair it with other base options that have a 130mm OD, such as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2512756 specifically. My initial two options include: - _8mm_hex.stl - This version is 8mm tall and 215mm in diameter, mimicking the 312 model's dimensions. It features hex recesses on the bottom for standard 1/4-20 hexnuts and a pass-through bolt fit. You can print those recesses without supports or pop in the hexnuts during printing (after clearing their height about 5.6mm) to keep them clean. - _8mm_tap.stl - This option is also 8mm tall and 215mm in diameter. The mount holes are 5.16mm for a 1/4-20 tap, but you may need a clearing pass with the tap drill for optimal results.
