Panavise 300 - replacement clamp part

<p>This part was created for an acquaintance who needed to replace a missing part for his Panavise 300. Since I also have a PanaVise 300, I was able to dis-assemble the vise so I could measure and model the missing part.</p><p>The photos show the vise, and the dis-assembled parts. The part modeled here are the parts labeled #6 and #7 (they are identical). There are a lot of unnecessary complexities in the original molded part (lot of mold cavities to reduce material use - see photos), so the 3D modeled part is actually fairly simple. In addition, I changed the registration pin design to make the part easier to print, and printed separate registration pins.</p><p>An additional note for anyone who may be missing this part : In the photo of the dis-assembled vise head, note that there is a metal disk (part #5) that you may also be missing. This is a simple metal disk (21mm diameter, 0.8mm thick) that goes between the clamp screw and the clamp piece (I assume to keep the clamp screw from damaging the clamp piece). </p><p>The clamp screw is 5/16"-18.</p><h4>Drawing</h4><p>Included with this print is a PDF drawing with the part dimensions, in case anyone would like to make this part in metal. Note that the drawing is slightly different from the printed version, as the printed version has features for improved printing.</p><h4>Print Instructions</h4><p>Print the parts in PETG using the 3mf or gcode files provided; otherwise :</p><ul><li>3 perimeters</li><li>40% grid infill</li></ul><p>Note that the there are two different versions of the clamp part. The “03” version has a “tented” top on the opening for the shaft. I found this version to print with the least complications.
