I'm thrilled to see a marked improvement over @tomerna's original version with the following upgrades: A larger diameter hole allows for effortless pushing of the screw versus the required twisting, which made it bind previously. The redesigned overall shape is more rounded and includes key fillets that contribute significantly to a stronger part. The widened contact point on the outside "finger" closest to the thumb screw prevents it from breaking easily. A recessed thumb screw receiver is added for greater rigidity and a snugger fit. This feature also makes it possible to use the provided thumbscrew, which has limited length. Consider incorporating a 5mm Nylock nut to round out the design. The evolution of the part's design is clearly shown in the photos. The first image displays @tomerna's original creation.
