Panasonic SA-HT750 Speaker Stand Coupling

My Panasonic SA-HT750 surround sound system is fantastic. However, it has a drawback - the speaker stands' plastic coupling piece fails to impress. As you can see from the photo, they shatter easily. These coupling pieces are quite minimalistic, consisting of thin injection-molded plastic. One had been completely destroyed, while the other was just starting to crack. I used the 'good' one as a reference point and attempted to design something that would accomplish the same task without compromising aesthetics. My coupling doesn't have an inner feature that interfaces with the stand tube's interior. Upon consideration, I decided that such a feature wouldn't provide a significant advantage. Instead, I increased the perimeter thickness to compensate for the lack of ID support. Since the ID has to remain open to accommodate the speaker wire, this modification seemed logical. To print my coupling piece, I utilized 30% infill density. This proved sufficient.
