Panasonic 7-14mm filter adapter
thingiverse
The Panasonic Lumix 7-14mm f4 proves itself worthy of its claims by lacking a filter thread and fixed hood due to the front element's bulbous nature. A straightforward approach is necessary to attach a 100x100mm square ND filter, which works seamlessly at 7mm with zero noticeable vignetting - unless you experience otherwise. I have printed this design once and it fits fairly well, but I initially created it for foam or cloth on the inner rim to achieve a less scratchy tight fit. So far, electrical tape has been used, providing a snug fit that can be challenging to apply. It's easier to take the lens off the camera body and slip it over the back. The fixed hood isn't completely flat; it tapers out slightly, resulting in a loose fit when loosened. I plan to experiment further. Additionally, something is required to clamp the filter to the mount. These clips (whose name escapes me) work exceptionally well for this purpose. Example photos will be posted soon, pending the sun's return.
