I modified the original files using Sketchup, after printing i drilled out the holes to match the servo holes, with a 1/16 drill bit. i used the circular servo attachments and mounted with #2x1/4 screws for the servos and #2x1/2 for the pivot for the camera arm. holds a standard board cam, with number 2 metric screws. The completed picture is of a previous revision then the files uploaded here, i slimmed down the base and raised the horizontal servo. I have not got this mounted on my plane yet, but it works great on the bench. Today i added a bunch of pictures to help anyone who may have trouble putting this thing together. After you get the idea it's not too bad. 1) clean up your print, if you need to. (file, sand, etc.) 2) drill out the holes for the servo attachment screws, and install the screws that come with the servo. I used a 1/16 bit. 3) mount the brackets to the 'ring' 4) glue the brackets to the ring, I used superglue, works well for me, I use the steam from my espresso maker to wet the PLA before I apply the super glue, which as i understand it makes the superglue set up much quicker. 5) drill out the holes on the servo round servo horn for the bottom/ horizontal servo. just use 2 that align with the holes in the base. i installed the screws from the top, but this does leave screw tips that hang out the bottom. if that is a problem trim your screws before you install them, or file the excess screw points off after the install. Make sure the splines on the servo horn face the servo! 6) Drill out the round servo horn for the camera tilt bracket. I install the screws from the outside through the PLA and into the servo horn. Make sure the splines on the servo horn face the servo! 7) Pre-drill the PLA for the pivot on the camera bracket, make sure to over drill the bracket it's self, as this is the pivot on the screw. ( I have not installed this screw yet on either of my pan tilt assemblies, as it's very easy to take the thing apart as long as it's not installed. 8) center your servo's and press the servos on to the servo horns and install the remaining screw that holds the servo to the horn. I hope this helps someone, and I want to give a shout out to the original designer, AtomKemp, for the great work. I'm working on a protective cover for the camera, it's not done yet, but you can see the prototype in one of my pictures. this thing printed in PLA with my settings weighs in at 60 grams. this is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:107957 Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .3mm Infill: 35%
