A Compact Pan/Tilt Mount Ideal for Android Phones. I've Included SCAD Files to Modify Parameters for Smaller or Larger Smartphones. The Original Concept Inspired This Project at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:302741, So This Mount Is Suitable for Small Cameras Like a Picam or Pixy If You Adjust the Camera Mount Component. This Servo-Controlled Pan/Tilt Mount Is Part of an Internet-of-Things Project Featuring Android Phones, Raspberry Pi Units Running Python Scripts and MQTT Server Communication. The Completed System Functions Despite Rudimentary Code, Available at https://github.com/DarfieldChris/MinePi. Find 3D Printing Files for the Mount Components in the Branch "3DPrinter". These Parts Were Successfully Printed with an Infill Density of 80%. The Pan/Tilt Mechanism Utilizes Two Servo Motors; My Initial Prototype Incorporated: One SG-5010 TowerPro Servo One SM-S4303R (Unconfirmed Manufacturer) I Selected These Components Due to Availability. For Future Designs, I Would Opt for Non-Continuous Servos on Both Axes - The SG-5010 Is Already a Non-Continuous Servo; Two Identical Motors Like This One Are the Best Choice. You Can Find Servo Control Code for Raspberry Pi Units at https://github.com/DarfieldChris/MinePi. This Initial Implementation Focuses on MQTT Communication and Might Not Be Immediately Useful; However, It Offers a Good Starting Point.
