Pan Flute
thingiverse
This plan outlines the creation of pan pipe models, ensuring tubes are at least 7 times wider than their opening for sound production. Pipe thickness is set to 2mm to avoid leaks. The parametric version allows note customization. Inches converted to 10mm were used, with a 6-inch C pipe becoming 60mm long. Print a 62mm high pan pipe and adjust size via the .scad file if desired. Tube length ratios vary between 1:7 and 1:14, but 1:10 offers an ideal balance. The source for length calculations can be found at http://www.panflutejedi.com/tube-lengths.html.
