Pan and Tilt for Standard Servo
thingiverse
Pan and Tilt for Standard Servo is a custom-designed project using Openscad, based on an excellent design by Blister for micro servos. The design can be found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1401116. A sensor mounting plate for the Melexis Infrared thermometer in TO-39 metal can (MLX90614ESF-BCI-000-TU-ND from Digi-Key) is also included in the project. The Pan servo can be modified to achieve a 180-degree rotation, which was accomplished by adding two 2.2K resistors to the feedback potentiometer. The following print settings were used for this project: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: TAZ 6 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.22mm Infill: 30% Notes: ABS plastic with a brim was used for the print. After printing, the servo motors were converted to 180-degree rotation, which resulted in a slight buzzing noise from the HK servos.
