The monument "Birutės" was erected in 1931, demolished and filled in 1946, original fragments were excavated in 1988, restored in 1990, renovated from 2006 to 2007; the author is sculptor Robertas Antinis senior (1898-1981), the restorer of the monument is Robertas Antinis junior (born 1946), artists - Vygintas Ivoška, Algirdas Povilaitis. The monument was scanned with a Leica RTC360 laser scanner. From the obtained points, a real 3D model was created. www.siaurinis.lt
