PALZero - Fixed!
thingiverse
While building the PALZero, I encountered several issues with ajcraig's instructions. One major problem is that the button mount uses the wrong model number, and the middle button hole is too large for the push button specified in the bill of materials (BOM). Looking closely at his build pictures reveals that he doesn't include a larger button hole in his prints. To address these issues, I reoriented all the STL files to make them ready for printing. To incorporate a cooling fan, you'll need a small 5V fan and a transistor - I used a S8050 NPN transistor. I want to emphasize that ajcraig's models and guide are excellent and well-written. However, there are some problems that can be improved upon, which is why I'm sharing my own approach to completing the project.
