Paludarium (Terrarium/Aquarium) Waterfall
thingiverse
I decided to create a paludarium in my classroom using a 40-gallon bow-front aquarium setting dry, featuring a gentle waterfall. To achieve this, I utilized an old pond/fountain pump I had on hand. Next, I needed a waterfall box and a filter for the pump to prevent gunk buildup. I remixed ItalicSix's fairy garden waterfall box design and used 7777773's eggcrate box to create a custom filter box for the pump. To ensure proper airflow, I added holes for tubing and electrical wiring. I then installed DrLex's square sieve to make the holes smaller and more efficient. Additionally, I placed four pegs on the lid of the filter box and the bottom of the waterfall box to accommodate PVC pipe supports for stability.
