The Palmyrian grave relief on display at Antike am Königsplatz in Munich, Germany dates back to around 130 AD. This ancient Semitic city is situated in present-day Homs Governorate, Syria, and archaeological discoveries stretch far into the Neolithic period. The city was first documented in the early second millennium BC and has changed hands numerous times between various empires before becoming a Roman Empire subject in the first century AD. This artifact is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe. The public can access these items for free through this initiative. Scan The World is an open-source community effort, and anyone interested in contributing can email stw@myminifactory.com to find out how they can help.
