I dedicate these F104 rims to the OpenRC #F1 racing at the 3D Meetup Sweden https://3dmeetup.se/event-2018/contests/race-track/ #3DMS2018 #3DMeetup2018 #3DMeetup I made versions for the original car, the 2017 version and the diff-version. I hope they all work as intended; please let me know if not. Yannick Morand, an Open RC enthusiast from Montreal, Canada, has created 3d printed rims for the original car and shared his photos here, thanks Yannick! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2361718 (designed by Tor Arne Hustvedt) If you prefer to use my low-profile tires for 3D-printing I recommend these versions for good grip: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1274262, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1272295. Perhaps it's also a good idea to make your car more crash-safe before racing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1884110, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1968442. And if you think a diff will help when using the low-profile tires, these rims can assist: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2716222 (the differential designed by Tor Arne Hustvedt can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2361718). I'd like to recommend a unique UV-stable, flexible and conductive filament called ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black filament. Don't need conductivity? Well, the conductivity is great for some things but perhaps not your first choice? Then consider this: This filament provides several benefits if conductivity isn't an issue for your design: •The material composition eliminates "stringing / webbing" issues. •The hardness of 95 shore A and the carbon black filler makes for excellent print abilities. •The carbon black filler is a great UV stabilizer, making prints last in harsh environments. •The matte black surface finish has an exclusive look. •The material feels very nice and dry to touch. •It's not too stretchy and will work well for timing belts etc. http://rubber3dprinting.com/, http://palmiga.com/ Follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter: http://instagram.com/rubber3dprinting, https://twitter.com/rubber3dprint Due to the nature of 3D printing / material used, keep in mind that you use my designs at your own risk, and I am not responsible for any damages or injuries.
