Palmiga ESD Anti Static Protection for Vacuum Cleaner Nozzle

Palmiga ESD Anti Static Protection for Vacuum Cleaner Nozzle

Most people know that vacuuming your PC or other electronics is a bad idea because of the ESD issue (Electrostatic Discharge) which can fry ICs. Fast-moving air creates a static charge quickly, and you don't want a huge spark flying into your PCB. This design can be used on the vacuum cleaner nozzle to ground/earth the nozzle preventing an ESD. I have printed with a 0.7mm nozzle at 40mm/s in the pictures. You should respect the license and give credit to the designer! The designer does not claim that these designs will work in any special way or that it is safe to use. You use my designs on your own risk, and I am in no way responsible for any damages or injuries. Please check out the unique UV-stable, flexible and conductive filament called ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black filament. You don't need conductivity? Well, conductivity is great for some things, but perhaps not your first choice. Then consider this: This filament will give you some really nice benefits if the conductivity is not an advantage for your 3D printed design: •The material composition eliminates "stringing / webbing" issues. •The hardness of 95 shore A and the carbon black filler makes for great print abilities. •The carbon black filler is an excellent UV stabilizer, so prints are built to last in very harsh environments. •The matte black surface finish has a very exclusive look. •The material feels very nice and dry to touch. •It's not too stretchy and will do great for timing belts etc. http://rubber3dprinting.com
