These three designs are based on the steering wheel center cap from the Caresto Arkham Car that Caresto Cars (http://www.caresto.se/cargalle...) built for the Gumball 3000 race in 2016. These versions are flat and scaled down by 50% compared to the originally 3D printed part. The original was 3D printed by Palmiga Innovation (http://rubber3dprinting.com/), using ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black filament. Three versions are available: one without holes, one that can be used as a keychain token, and one that could be used to make a hanging mobile. You might find other uses too! CARESTO ARKHAM CAR This car is a one-of-a-kind creation built by Caresto for the Gumball 3000 in 2016. The design is based on the Arkham Knight game's car but has been redesigned and manufactured with drivability and full functionality in mind. The car is massive, with a wheelbase of 3.40 meters and a width of 2.5 meters. A special high-rigid tubular frame provides good handling and a solid feeling. Front and rear suspensions are fully independent and made with double wishbones connected to coil-over shock absorbers, up front through a specially designed aluminum push rod. The car is powered by a 560hp V10 engine connected to a paddle-shift gear box that affects the 26" wheels. To stop the car, we've used ABS-supported 8-pot Brembo calipers in front and 6-pot in rear, all connected to large brake discs. The complicated carbon fiber body was made from full-scale molds milled out from CAD drawings. A lot of effort went into designing the drawings and molds to get the correct stance with working systems and parts that work together. Inside the car, the driver and passenger can enjoy an interior featuring black soft leather and "see-through" fabric, all held together by golden stitches. The interior lights up in seats, floor, and pedals when the cockpit opens fully electrically operated. All comfort functions like climate system, power steering, fantastic sound system, etc., help make this car a comfortable driver, despite its hard steel-like appearance. Don't need conductivity? Consider this: This filament gives you several benefits if conductivity isn't a disadvantage for your 3D printed design: • The material composition eliminates "stringing / webbing" issues. • The hardness of 95 shore A and the carbon black filler makes for great print abilities. • The carbon black filler is an excellent UV stabilizer, so prints last in harsh environments. • The matte black surface finish has a very exclusive look. • The material feels nice and dry to touch. • It's not too stretchy and will do well for timing belts, etc. Kind Regards Thomas Palm / Leif Tufvesson http://rubber3dprinting.com/ http://www.caresto.se/ http://palmiga.com/ https://www.instagram.com/carestocars https://www.instagram.com/rubber3dprinting
